CEO AND FOUNDER:
The founder of His Acres Foundation, Reverend Maggie McGuire, started this Iowa corporation in l993, and in that year applied twice for a zoning change that it was said was needed to build a hospice house.

It has been largely inactive until 2003 at which time notice was received from IRS that 50lc3 tax exempt status had been awarded, retroactive to May, 2002. A third attempt was then made to obtain a zoning change on Pastor McGuire’s rural acreage in order to facilitate construction of a free-standing hospice house. To date, legal steps are being taken to effect that zoning change, eg. application now before the Board of Adjustment, and we await that hearing. (Denied 4-1-04-will now go to district court-petition was denied in district court)

Pastor McGuire, during those “waiting years” has been active in study of God’s word, having been called into the ministry in l993. In 2000 she was ordained into full gospel ministry with the Assemblies of God Fellowship, and for four years pastored Macedonia Assemblies of God church, Macedonia, Iowa. She resigned that position in December of 2004 to return full time to evangelism and to planning of His Acres Hope Center, apartments and retreat center.

McGuire has been active in writing scripture based music, arranging that music and recording it with the help of Great Plains Recording Company out of Des Moines, Iowa. Currently a second CD has been completed, but not yet finished off for CD production. “Glory Light” was produced in l996, and Mercy Wings recently completed and awaits finishing touches.

She is an artist as well as a writer, having multiple oil paintings on display in her residence, and enjoying the release of a first book January 22, 2003. The book is a fiction novel, family adventure drama about a lost Irish Setter Dog. The book was re-written last year, with Christian values added into the book’s action plot. LAMP ON A HILL Sun. evening Radio Broadcast is ongoing.

Pastor McGuire is a registered nurse, having experience in trauma nursing for 25 years, and one year hospice nursing. She has taken a missionary associate trip to Houston, Tx. and also a missions trip to Chile with Health Care Ministries, an Assemblies of God ministry. She is presently CEO and founder of His Acres Foundation. Pastor's home church is First Assembly of God Church in Atlantic. She is active in Harlan, IA First Assembly of God.

VICE-PRESIDENT:
Allen Herzberg, Atlanticd, Iowa retired Griswold sch.teacher, is presently active in this corporation as well as in Gideon’s, a Christian Bible distribution ministry that is international in scope. He has attended Promise Keepers National Rallies, and has taken missions trip to Russia and also to Mexico. The Herzbergs are both active in First Assembly of God Church in Atlantic, Iowa.

SECRETARY:
Janette Herzberg (Mrs. Allen), Atlantic, is an avid prayer warrior and continues to run a school bus for the Griswold School System in the summers. She has taken missions trips to Romania Children’s orphanages and to Mexico. She has attended Women of the Faith Conferences, and has been instrumental in bringing women's conferences to the local area..

NEW PERSON "ON BOARD"
Virginia (wife of Pastor Stan) Gravett, Church of God of Prophecy in Atlantic, is the newest director to be welcomed onto the Board of Directors of His Acres Foundation. Virginia is a Registered Nurse, active many years in Labor & Delivery Departments of various hospitals. She is an accomplished pianist, and assists Pastor Stan in ministry.
